Why Do We Need Detoxification?

Filed Under (About InsBeaute, Beauty, Beauty Consultant, Beauty Therapist, Esthetique, Health Awareness, News, Wellness) by User ImageSerine on 02-06-2008

Most people think we need to help our body detoxification and actually our body can do automatically, the body naturally can detoxify through our skin and the systematic circulation and also our digestion.

How does they work?

The skin

The skin will perspire and detox the sweat when the body is feeling hot and release the sweat in order to regulate the temperature and at the same toxin is releases. Therefore, most people like to do exercises allowing our body able to perspire the sweat releasing the toxin out of the body and not forgetting the oil gland will also releases sebum if the environment or weather is cold to help keep moisture to the skin.

Circulation

The body need to have circulation and helps absorption taking the nutrients to the cells to help renew and make more new cells and at the times purges the old and damaged cells.

Our digestion

As all knows we always need to eat and if you don’t then you feel hungry, that is why we do feel hungry? Well, our body need foods “nutrients” which indication from your stomach, then the nutrients will does to the small intestine for further absorption and those that is no absorption by the body will be waste and also some waste products due to new food taken and old ones which is known to be toxins, mostly to goes to the big intestine to be pass out. Otherwise will be stored for future use, in case meal is skip!

In generally, it is very simple and especially our body has the capability to do so and unless the body is sick then will not function properly. Some people are unable to detoxify normally and healthy because we did not take care of ourselves and due to added stress causing the natural way of detoxification malfunction then that is when help needed.

In order to let our body to do detoxification normally, we need to have proper sleep and rest, a balanced meal and sufficient exercises. Once our body able to circulate well, able to eat well and able to visit toilet on daily basis. Then detoxification treatments are actually not required as the body already able to clear toxin.

When we actually need Detoxification?

When we are doing detoxification for our body, ones must be prepared as everyone react or have different experience. There are many ways to suit everyone but I would naturally try doing the natural way unless my body is sick…..

Skin Treatments Perform by Professionals or Specialist

Filed Under (Beauty Consultant, Beauty Therapist, Esthetique, Health Awareness, News, Wellness) by User ImageSerine on 09-05-2008

Many skin treatments are probably treated in beauty salon but one needs to know not all of them especially injections or surgery works though these days more and more new modern technologies and hi-technologies able to find but that does not mean anyone can perform the job.

Many more Esthetician are higher qualified and trained. Still caution is good piece of advice. As some claims that are trained but in facts, trained by equipments supplier.

Here are some treatments that performs by plastic surgery or now commonly known as Aesthetic Doctor.

Microneedling Dermaroller

Microneedling uses a device called Dermaroller. It is stud with nearly 200 extreme fine needles of medical grade stainless steel. These fine needles penetrate the dermis producing tiny micro-wounds. The skin reacts to these pricks like it reacts to any other wound with the distribution of the various growth factors. As a result, new collagen develops on top of the dermis and underneath the epidermis.

Botox

Botulinum toxin was developed to treatmentstrabismus (cross-eye or lazy eye), and was shortly thereafter discovered to be highly effective for many forms of dystonia. Spasticity can also be effectively treated with botulinum toxin. Injected into selected small muscles of the face, it can reduce wrinkling.

A solution of botulinum toxin is injected into the overactive muscle. The toxin is taken up by nerve endings at the junction between nerve and muscle. Once inside the cell, the toxin divides a protein. The normal job of this protein is to help the nerve release a chemical, a neurotransmitter, which stimulates the muscle to contract. When botulinum toxin divides the protein, the nerve cannot release the neurotransmitter, and the muscle cannot contract as forcefully.

The effects of botulinum toxin begin to be felt several days after the injection. They reach their peak usually within two weeks, and then gradually fade over the next 2–3 months. Since the effects of the toxin disappear after several months, re-injection is necessary for continued muscle relaxation.

Whitening Injections

These jabs are to give skin reducing the pigment.

Fat Reduction

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy uses multiple injections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients into the subcutaneous fat. Mesotherapy injections are purported to target adipose fat cells, apparently by inducing rupture and cell death among adipocytes. In another word, injecting substances into the skin to dissolves fats.

Some countries has banned this procedures.

Carboxytherapy

It is a non surgical method. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is infiltrated into the subcutaneous tissue through a tiny 30G needle (0.3mm in diameter). From the injection point, the carbon dioxide diffuses easily into adjacent tissues.

How does the Carboxytherapy (carbon dioxide) work?

Carboxytherapy Therapy works in two complimentary ways. Firstly, and quite simply carbon dioxide mechanically kills fat cells. Secondly, it also has a strong vasodilatory effect (causes dilation of blood vessels) on the capillaries in the area. Wider vessels mean bigger and stronger blood flow to the area, which means more oxygen. The increase in oxygen is important because it eliminates the built up fluid from between the cells. The end result is fewer fat cells and firmer subcutaneous tissue.

Many more advances treatments can be found to help treats problems and new found techiques and technologies. Not just find the treatment that is right for one but also the right person to perform the treatment and remember that you can have a consultant first before having the treatments.

Introduction Of Aromatherapy

Filed Under (Beauty, Beauty Consultant, Beauty Therapist, Esthetique, Wellness) by User ImageSerine on 02-04-2008

Aroma-therapy come from the word Aroma which means smell, fragrance and in generalaroma-pic.jpg the sense. And therapy which is a treatment of therapeutic touch by a therapist. Aromatherapy is a branch of alternative medicine that employs essential oils because practitioners believe aromatherapy oils have therapeutic effects. Aromatherapy also acts on the central nervous system, relieving depression and anxiety, reducing stress, relaxing, uplifting, sedating or stimulating, restoring both physical and emotional wellness.

Aromatherapy Essential Oils can help you enhance your life, total well-being and overall health and wellness. Aromatherapy oils are extracted from a plant’s flowers,insb-aromatherapy-pic.jpg fruit, leaves, branches, bark and roots using the process of steam distillation or cold-pressed and it consists of the use of pure essential oils obtained from a wide assortment of plants. Soothe your mind and body with the scents of peppermint, eucalyptus, jasmine, patchouli, lavendar, Ylang Ylang and so much more. These essential oils are then used in various ways — they can be inhaled, applied topically, or ingested. High-quality essential oils are great complements to days of relaxation and set the perfect mood for tranquil nights and can help ease a wide assortment of ailments; easing aches, pains, and injuries, while relieving the discomforts of many health problems.

Many of the oils have powerful antibacterial and antiviral properties which, unlike pharmaceutical drugs which do not leave behind dangerous toxins. Some of the most beneficial oils can prove harmful under certain conditions. Concentrated oils are very strong, and just because a product is natural does not mean is harmless. Inappropriate use can often lead to adverse and damaging side effects. The majority of essential oils produced in the world market are used in the food flavor and fragrance industry, so essential oils are often found on the market adulterated with similar essential oils, chemicals and synthetics. Not all ready-made aromatherapy products labeled with the word ‘aromatherapy’ are pure and natural. Products that contain artificial ingredients do not provide true aromatherapy benefits. At worst, they provide no benefit.

There are plenty more to share on the Aromatherapy Essential Oils.. do drop by

Osteoporosis – The Silent Disease

Filed Under (Beauty, Beauty Consultant, Beauty Therapist, Esthetique, Wellness) by User ImageSerine on 07-03-2008

Osteoporosis can be a particular problem for Asian women, who in general have less bone mass than females of other races, and thus are more vulnerable to bone mass loss.

Bone reaches its maximum mass by age 25 to 30. After that, bone mass begins to decline gradually. As for women, loss of bone is dramatically accelerated during the first 5 – 10 years after menopause when women can lose as much as 30% of their skeleton!

52% of Asian women aged 50 and above are estimated to have low bone mass.

35% of Asian men aged 50 and above are estimated to have low bone mass.

Osteoporosis is called a silent disease because it is often diagnosed only after a person suffers a fracture in which the bones becomes thin and brittle. However, you do not have to wait till then to find out you are losing your bones. Bone formation and depletion is a natural condition of life, but as age increases, bone depletion accelerates much faster than its formation, often due to insufficient ionized calcium storage.

That is why calcium is one of the most important and irreplaceable minerals because of its role in: Formation, maintenance and protection.

  • Formation and growth of bones and teeth;
  • Maintenance of strong bone and teeth; and
  • Protection from increasing bone loss due to aging.

Help Your Bones!

Avoid smoking and heavy alcohol consumption and physical inactivity are much more important factors in the development of osteoporosis than calcium deficiency.

Increases your intake of calcium like dairy products, yogurt. or calcium supplements if ones greatly in calcium deficiency.

Do exercises at least 20 – 30 minutes about 3 times a week

And lastly a daily balanced-diet meal.

Sleep: Your Body’s Means Of Rejuvenation

Filed Under (About InsBeaute, Beauty, Beauty Consultant, Beauty Therapist, Esthetique, Wellness) by User ImageSerine on 12-02-2008

sleeping-baby.jpgDuring season festive time, just like Chinese New Year, most of us getting ourselves busy spring cleaning the house, going shopping buying new clothes, shoes and others new stuffs and not forgetting going supermarket to get food in order to prepare ourselves a sumptuous meal for the reunion dinner or meals for the guests and that will make us having not enough time – so what happen! Lack of sleep..

What happens when you cannot catch up?
Chronically losing sleep results in sleep debt, which can lead to serious consequences. Sleep debt is cumulative, and even small nightly sleep losses can add up to affect your daytime function. Possible consequences include increased accidents and poor performance on the job or in school.

Long-term sleep deprivation can affect your physical and mental health. Sleep helps bolster your immune system so that you can fight off viruses and bacteria. After a few nights of absolutely no sleep, some people begin hallucinating.

When you do not get enough sleep, you may feel less alert and less vigorous and perhaps, more confused, irritable and fatigued. Lack of sleep affects not only your energy level but also your mental and social functioning. You may find it more difficult to concentrate. You may find that you lose patience quickly, that you become less interactive in your relationships and that you become less productive at work.

Do not be embarrassed about your need for sleep!
You may find yourself routinely dozing off in mid of day or having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep of your need for sleep. But in reality, sleep is just as important as the activities you perform during your waking hours.

Sleep ranks at the top of the list of human necessities — right along with air, water and food. It is more than a timeout from daily life or a passive retreat. A good night’s sleep leaves you feeling refreshed, alert and ready to tackle the day’s tasks.

Will napping help?
The urge for a midday nap is built into your body’s biological clock. Usually between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. you experience a slight drop in your body temperature, indicating nap time.

If you are not getting enough sleep, napping may or may not help. The best solution is to go to bed earlier. If that is not possible, a daytime nap might give you the boost you need, helping you feel more energized and alert. If you have insomnia, though, a daytime nap may make sleeping at night more difficult. If you do nap, keep it short, called it a Cat Nap — limit it to 20 or 30 minutes late in the morning or in the mid noon. And do not rely on naps to keep you going. Try to get enough sleep to avoiding a sleep deficit.
